Rotarians turned out again in record numbers to help ring bells at the Salvation Army red kettles at the Amish Market and at Shop Rite. Fourteen members helped out at Shop Rite and 16 helped at the Amish Market, helping raise over $5,000 for the Salvation Army, reports Katie Martin, bell ringing organizer. As always, those who choose to help at the Amish Market have the added fun of shopping there after their shift. Of course, Shop Rite has great holiday items also for shoppers! Some of the bell ringers, in addition to Katie, who has chaired this activity for more years than we can recall, included Laurie Ryan, Paul Woodruff, Connell O’Brien, Michael Karwic, Michael Louis, Amna Salahuddin, Patty Jefferis, Joe and Anne Driscoll, Bob Frame, Steve Brown, Mac Neilon, and Steve Quigley. So nice to see some of our newer members jumping in to help!
