Rotary Club of West Chester
Founded in 1921, the Rotary Club of West Chester is an organization of business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and work to build good will and peace in the world.
The Object of Rotary is to foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise through:
- development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
- promotion of high ethical standards in business and professions;
- service in one's personal business and community life;
- advancement of international understanding, good will and peace.
Rotary uses the "4-Way Test" as an instrument to develop respect and understanding among peoples.

- Is it FAIR to all concerned?
- Will it build GOOD WILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
- Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
- annual fruit sale to raise funds for a different local charity each year;
- conducting the Chili Cook-off each fall to raise funds for local and world community efforts;
- providing scholarships for local high school students;
- sponsoring Youth Exchange which brings foreign students to the area and sends local high school students to foreign countries, each for a year, to build world peace and understanding;
- sponsoring leadership development opportunities and programs for, and recognizing and awarding high achieving high school students;
- contributing generously to Rotary Foundation to assist in world service programs.
