The Rotary Club of West Chester is an organization of business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and work to build good will and peace in the world. Our Rotary Club was chartered May 1, 1921 and is now one of over 32,000 clubs world wide, in 200 different countries. Following its motto, "Service Above Self", the West Chester club has provided service to the community and the world.
Rotary uses the "4-Way Test" as an instrument to develop respect and understanding among people. This 24-word code of ethics is:
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
