THANKS DAVE, WELCOME BILL! Incoming president Bill Ronayne (left) presented a past president's pin and plaque to outgoing president, Dave Rayburn, at the West Chester club's President's Gala. Cocktails and a buffet dinner, along with live and silent auctions, were arranged by Sue Casso Rogers and her committee. Bob Frame again served as auctioneer for the lively bidding that took place for the handful of live auction items. A time of fun and fellowship was had by all! HONORARY ROTARIAN FOR 2010 Mary Lou Enochs (left) is presented a plaque by Chris McCawley, chair of the Honorary Rotarian Committee, in honor of Mary Lou's being named Honorary Rotarian for 2010. In addition to being a successful businesswoman, Mary Lou, owner of La Difference Salon and Day Spa in West Chester, has contributed many volunteer hours to the community. A longtime member of the Chamber of Commerce of Greater West Chester, she has served as board chair, Christmas Parade chair, chair of West Goshen Park and Recreation, Bishop Shanaham High School Presidential Advisory Board, treasurer of Feast of the Assumption at St Agnes, and chair of the March of Dimes Chester County Women of Achievement. She was named Volunteer of the Year by the Chamber in 2001 and 2002 and awarded the 2002 Women in Business Award from the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry. She was recently nominated to the State Board of Cosmetology by Governor Rendell and Senator Dinniman and is vice chair of that board. As a member of the YMCA board, she chairs the Good Kids Dinner and is helping with the West Chester Area Senior Center Gala. She is the sister of Rotarian Joe Polito and mother-in-law of Rotarian Dan Cosgrove. Rotarians of the Year Katie Decker and Mac Neilon congratulate each other after President Dave Rayburn named these two Sgt. Of Arms committee members as our club's Rotarians of the Year. Not only have these two been conscientous about helping Pres. Dave keep the weekly meetings running smoothly, they also contribute much to the club and community in many other areas. Katie works with Brighter Future, Habitat for Humanity, and the Chili Cook-off, and this past year initiated a new fundraiser for the club, the Poinsettia Sale, which actually made a profit in its inaugural year! Mac also works with Brighter Future, Habitat for Humanity and Chili Cook-off, as well as with the annual Fruit Sale, and Brian's Run. Both outstanding Rotarians deserving of the recognition and our congratulatiions!
